Purpose Driven Destination
The Squamish Canyon provides a rare impact driven experience on the Sea to Sky corridor while attempting to address a number of economic, social, and environmental challenges.
The extreme demand from international visitors provides an ideal purpose and opportunity to develop much needed infrastructure while contributing to a thriving economy and providing safe, engaging, all-season activities in the area. Squamish Canyon will also help alleviate currently over-crowded parks and trails while providing much-needed living wage employment opportunities in the region.
The cornerstone of the project will be an education program enriching locals and tourists from around the globe on vital topics such as outdoor safety, geological history of natural sites, regional wildlife and local ecosystems. We are proud to work with and to integrate the Squamish Coast Salish Nations Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw, dynamic, rich history and culture into our core educational offerings and various aspects of our visitor’s interactive experience.
